Your Stylist has set aside a certain amount of time for your guest experience. Most often 2 to 3 hours, or more, have been blocked off for a guest appointment. Should you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please notify us within 48 hours in advance so that we may schedule another guest for that slot.
If you fail to cancel 48 hours in advance of your scheduled time, you will be required to pay the full amount of services scheduled.
NO-SHOW NO-CALL guest will not be allowed to reschedule at The Vanity Spot Salon. Our staff will always reach out to guests after 15 minutes past original appointment time. We do understand that there are extreme circumstances and emergencies that may occur; Management will handle them on a case by case basis.
When a guest no-shows or no-calls, they disrespect the stylist, their profession and their ability to make an income, as well as other guest who are trying to get in that stylist in your community.
We know traffic in Austin can be horrendous and that the lines at the grocery store are long. Please plan accordingly so that you are able to receive all the services scheduled for your appointment, especially that amazing shampoo! Should you show up late and the services scheduled cannot be obtained, then you will be considered a no-show and the above policy could be implemented.
We understand that sometimes a stylist may need to tweak a certain cut or color that didn’t come out to a guest’s expectation. We will only honor that if the guest reaches out to us within 5 business days after their appointment.
We prefer that children be left with caregivers so that you, the guest, can relax and enjoy your guest experience. We all deserve to have a little “me time” and your children deserve to be able to enjoy their play time in an atmosphere that is more conducive and safe to their needs. We are a business with sharp objects, hot tools and chemicals. We cannot be held responsible for children who could potentially be harmed while visiting our salon. So please do yourself and other guest around you the ability to relax and enjoy their salon experience.
Consultations are complimentary. We allow 15 minutes for this complimentary service. We encourage guest to have a clear vision of what they are expecting from their stylist. Bringing inspiration pictures and a written list of past services (color, highlights, perm, henna etc…) to your consultation will make communication between you and the stylist much clearer. Please note that the vision you may have and the time scheduled may not be equal or could take several sessions, it can be a journey not a race to the finish line. Stylist are not magicians but they can make magic happen.
Need to work, shop or just scroll during your visit here at The Vanity Spot Salon? No problem, just ask your stylist for the password and you will be good to go. Need to be on a conference call, webinar, or watch a movie? Then please be considerate of other guest around you by implementing ear pieces. This is a time of pampering and relaxation for all who come to The Vanity Spot.
By booking with The Vanity Spot Salon you are fully agreeing to all policies outlined and understand the consequences should any of said policies are not adhered too.
